Hailing from Karachi, Pakistan, the Saami Brothers are the custodians of an 800-year-old Sufi musical lineage and master practitioners of Qawwali. Passed down entirely through oral tradition, their music carries generations of devotional poetry, vocal mastery, and spiritual expression. Building from mesmerizing melodies to ecstatic rhythmic intensity, their performances are both deeply moving and electrifying. Audiences should expect a thrilling, hypnotic experience driven by soaring vocals, powerful handclaps, and the irresistible energy of Qawwali at its finest.

The group’s work uniquely bridges the contemplative stillness of Khayal, which is rooted in breath, silence and tone, with the ecstatic, rhythmic devotion of Qawwali. This interplay creates performances that are both meditative and electrifying, offering transcendent serenity born from centuries of refined practice. Equally at home performing each tradition separately or weaving them together in a single set, the Saamis are dynamic, genre-defying artists whose spontaneity and emotional depth captivate audiences worldwide. Each performance is entirely unique — an act of living devotion and improvisation.

Atrium Lobby doors open one hour prior to showtime and Concert Hall seating begins 30 minutes before performance time.

Wheelchair accessible seating is located in the left and right side center mezzanine sections (rows BBB and EEE).

There is no elevator to the balcony level. Unless noted otherwise, the balcony will remain closed for Weis Center performances.

Children 2 years and older must have a ticket to attend any event. Children under 2 years of age and seated on a parent's lap may enter the venue without a ticket.

To help ensure the safety and security of all athletic event attendees, the University has instituted enhanced security measures, including metal and weapons detection technology at entrances to Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium and Sojka Pavilion. All spectators must be screened before entry and should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the event to ensure ample time to take their seats. Secondary screenings will be conducted as needed by security staff. Any spectator who leaves and reenters will be rescreened.

Only small clutch bags (4.5" X  6.5") and bags made of clear plastic (of any size) will be allowed at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium, Sojka Pavilion, and possibly other event venues. Backpacks, purses, tote bags, paper bags, crossbody bags, shoulder bags, & fanny packs are common bags that will be denied at entry.  Spectators are encouraged to limit the number of items they bring into a venue. The University is unable to provide bag storage service, so please plan accordingly. Items that do not fit in your clear bag should be left in your vehicle, residence, or hotel.  Strollers, diaper bags, and medically-necessary equipment are permitted, but will be subject to search upon request. All items brought into Bucknell University venues are subject to inspection. 

Holder agrees that he/she may be denied entry or ejected from the venue if found in possession of any item that Bucknell University deems dangerous or hazardous, including but not limited to, glass containers, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, tobacco products, vapes, laser pointers, fireworks/ explosives, irritants (e.g., noise makers), balloons, umbrellas (that obstruct fans' views), pets (except service animals), drones, offensive clothing or signage, and weapons. There are no provisions for storing/ checking prohibited items on-site. Items left unattended will be discarded and are unrecoverable. Management may eject or refuse entry to anyone for misconduct, rule violations, or failure to comply with security searches. 

All sales are final. The opponent, date, and time of the Event are subject to change and under no circumstance will a refund or other remedy be provided. If the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, the sole and exclusive remedy is a refund of the face value of the ticket. 

Bucknell University denounces ticket scalping and the sale of any event ticket at a price higher than its face value. Any tickets purchased for the purpose of resale may be cancelled.  

Holder hereby grants Bucknell University and its designees the perpetual and irrevocable permission to use Holder's image, voice or likeness in connection with any media now or hereafter existing in connection with all or part of the Event or related events, for any purpose whatsoever including the commercial purposes of Bucknell University, its sponsors, licensees, advertisers and broadcasters.

The Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incident to the Event as well as events before or after the Event, including the risk of personal injury and loss or damage to property, and releases and forever discharges Bucknell University, its trustees, officers, employees, and agents, from any responsibility or liability therefor.
